TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Welcome to the Magnolia Midwifery website. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of magnoliamidwiferylowco.com and its content, forms, links and features.
By using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.
1. About Magnolia Midwifery
Magnolia Midwifery provides information about home birth, prenatal care, postpartum and newborn care, women’s wellness and related services offered in coastal South Carolina and southeast Georgia.
Services are subject to location, availability, consultation, clinical eligibility, applicable licensing requirements and completion of Magnolia Midwifery’s separate client agreements.
2. Website Information Is Not Medical Advice
The information provided on this website is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and it should not be used as a substitute for individualized advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Do not delay or disregard professional medical advice because of information found on this website.
3. Emergencies and Urgent Concerns
This website and its inquiry forms are not intended for emergencies or urgent medical concerns.
Call 911 or seek immediate emergency care when appropriate. Current clients should use the communication instructions provided directly by Magnolia Midwifery for time-sensitive clinical concerns.
4. No Midwife-Client Relationship
Viewing this website, submitting an inquiry form, sending an email, calling the practice or communicating through social media does not create a midwife-client or healthcare provider-patient relationship.
A professional relationship is established only after Magnolia Midwifery confirms acceptance into care and all required agreements and consent documents have been completed.
5. Eligibility and Availability of Services
Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance into care or availability for a requested due date or service.
Magnolia Midwifery may determine whether services are appropriate based on factors including service location, scheduling, clinical eligibility, professional scope of practice and the ability to provide safe and appropriate care.
6. Separate Client and Financial Agreements
Clients accepted into care may be required to sign separate clinical, informed-consent, financial, payment, cancellation, transfer and service agreements.
When there is a conflict between these website Terms and a signed client agreement, the signed client agreement will govern the professional services covered by that agreement.
7. Website Inquiries and Communications
Visitors agree to provide accurate and current information when submitting an inquiry.
Please do not use the website form to submit urgent concerns, detailed medical records, diagnoses, medication lists or other information that is not necessary for an initial inquiry.
Electronic communications may not always be completely secure or immediately received. Visitors are responsible for using an appropriate communication method based on the urgency and sensitivity of their concern.
