PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: July 28, 2026
Magnolia Midwifery LLC (“Magnolia Midwifery,” “Magnolia,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you visit magnoliamidwiferylowco.com, submit a website inquiry, or otherwise communicate with us through the website.
By using this website, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide through our website inquiry form or other communications. Depending on the form and service requested, this information may include:
Your name, email address, telephone number, city and state, date of birth, estimated due date, requested service, prior birth information, referral source, preferred contact information, and any additional information you choose to provide.
Please provide only the information reasonably necessary for Magnolia Midwifery to respond to your initial inquiry.
We may also automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the website, including your internet protocol address, browser type, device type, approximate geographic location, referring website, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.

2. How We Use Information
Magnolia Midwifery may use information collected through the website to:
Respond to inquiries and consultation requests; determine whether a requested service may be available in your location; communicate about scheduling, services, or next steps; understand how visitors find and use the website; improve website content and performance; maintain website security; administer business records; and comply with applicable professional, contractual, or legal obligations.
Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance into care or establish a midwife-client or healthcare provider-patient relationship.

3. Sensitive and Health-Related Information
The public website inquiry form is intended for initial and general inquiries. It is not intended for detailed medical histories, diagnoses, medication lists, medical records, laboratory results, urgent health concerns, or emergency communications.
Please do not submit more sensitive health information than is reasonably necessary for an initial inquiry. If you are accepted into care, Magnolia Midwifery may provide separate instructions for securely submitting clinical and client information through its Client Care portal or another approved system.
The website and inquiry form are not monitored for emergencies. Call 911 or seek appropriate emergency medical care for an emergency. Current clients should follow the communication instructions provided directly by Magnolia Midwifery for time-sensitive clinical concerns.

4. Wix Website and Form Services
This website is created and hosted through Wix. Information submitted through a Wix form may be stored within Magnolia Midwifery’s Wix account.
Routine access to website inquiry submissions is limited to Kristen Lind. Wix may process and store information as necessary to provide website hosting, form, security, and related services.
When an inquiry is submitted, Wix also sends an email notification to:
kristen@magnoliamidwiferylowco.com
Email communications may not always be completely secure. Visitors should not send detailed medical records or highly sensitive health information through ordinary email unless Magnolia Midwifery has provided specific instructions for doing so.

5. Google Analytics and Cookies
Magnolia Midwifery uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and interact with the website. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages visited, general device and browser information, referral sources, approximate location, and interactions with website content.
This information helps us understand website traffic and improve the visitor experience. Magnolia Midwifery does not use Google Analytics information to provide medical advice or make clinical decisions.
Google provides privacy controls that can limit data collection and advertising-related functions, as well as a browser add-on visitors may use to opt out of Google Analytics.
Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies. Disabling cookies may affect how portions of the website function.
6. Client Care Portal
If you become a Magnolia Midwifery client, information necessary to provide and document care may be entered into Magnolia Midwifery’s separate Client Care portal.
Information maintained in the Client Care portal is separate from general website analytics and may be subject to additional client agreements, consent documents, privacy notices, record-retention requirements, and professional obligations.

7. QuickBooks
Magnolia Midwifery may use QuickBooks for invoicing, bookkeeping, payment tracking, and related business administration.
When necessary, QuickBooks may receive limited client contact, invoice, billing, and transaction information required to provide those services. Magnolia Midwifery does not currently accept or process payments directly through this website.
Payment methods and financial terms are governed by Magnolia Midwifery’s separate client and billing agreements.

8. How Information May Be Shared
Magnolia Midwifery does not sell or rent personal information.
We may share limited information with service providers that perform functions on our behalf, including Wix, Google Analytics, our email service, Client Care, and QuickBooks. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their respective technology, hosting, analytics, communication, client-record, invoicing, or administrative services.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a valid legal request, professional obligations, protect the safety or rights of an individual, investigate misuse of the website, or protect Magnolia Midwifery’s legal interests.
Information is not shared with unrelated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

9. Marketing Communications
Magnolia Midwifery offers an optional email newsletter containing educational information, practice updates, announcements and occasional promotional communications.
Visitors may subscribe by entering their email address and providing consent through the newsletter signup form. When double opt-in is enabled, subscribers must also confirm their email address before their subscription becomes active.
Information submitted through the general Client Inquiry form will not be added to the newsletter unless the individual separately chooses to subscribe.
Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter email. Magnolia Midwifery does not sell or rent newsletter subscriber information.

10. Data Retention
General website inquiries from people who do not become clients may be retained for up to six months after the inquiry is resolved or communication ends, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for legal, security, dispute-resolution, or business-record purposes.
If an individual becomes a client, information associated with their inquiry may become part of Magnolia Midwifery’s client or business records. Those records may be retained for a different period based on professional requirements, applicable law, contractual responsibilities, and Magnolia Midwifery’s record-retention policies.
Magnolia Midwifery seeks to retain personal information only for as long as there is a legitimate business, professional, contractual, or legal reason to keep it.

11. Data Security
Magnolia Midwifery uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
However, no website, electronic transmission, email system, or online storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Visitors should use care when deciding what information to submit electronically.
This Privacy Policy does not represent that the current public website inquiry form is intended to receive detailed protected health information.
12. Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests
You may contact Magnolia Midwifery to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information submitted through the public website.
Magnolia Midwifery will review requests and respond as reasonably appropriate. Certain information may need to be retained when required by law, professional obligations, contractual responsibilities, security needs, record-retention requirements, or an active client relationship.
